All the kids’ favourite activities are back this summer with face painters, fun lawn games and more on the Members Family Lawn.
Important race day update
A heat policy has been enacted by Racing Victoria to ensure the wellbeing of horses and participants at Flemington on VRC Summer Fun Race Day.
Gates will now open at 9:30am. The first race will be at 10:30am and the last at 2.53pm.
Kids’ Summer Camp will be on the Front Lawn West from 10:30am to 2:30pm.
Extended hours for members will still run for two hours after the last in the Roof Garden until 5:00pm.
Morning tea options will be available for guests in The Dining Room, The Terrace and in the Chairman’s Club for those who arrive early.
Flemington will be in full swing on VRC Summer Fun Race Day, with a racing program highlighted by the Group 3 Standish Handicap for sprinters.
Join us trackside and enjoy the relaxed summer vibes and live music. Cold brews and a Punter’s Club on the front lawn, super-fresh food served all day long and live music will enhance the racing action trackside. And don’t forget to enjoy a refreshing Pimm’s cocktail at the pop-up bar! Saintly Place Sports Bar will be buzzing with live sports and $5 food specials.
Looking for somewhere to bring the kids? Enjoy maximum summer fun on the Flemington Front Lawn where children can enjoy loads of activities including lawn games and face painting. You can sign them up to the Phar Lap Club on the day (or here) so they can play a fun game of Putt Putt!
Plus, with extended hours and a DJ after the last, the festivities continue in The Roof Garden.

Trains will depart Southern Cross Station (Platform 8) from 9:15 am – 11:35 am, stopping at North Melbourne, to Flemington Racecourse.
Going Home
Trains will depart Flemington Racecourse (Platform 1) from 2:38 pm – 4:59 pm, stopping at North Melbourne, to Southern Cross Station.

Kids' Summer Camp
The kids will love our Phar Lap Club Summer Camp with a host of supervised fun activities, crafts, and ball games.
Sign your little one up to Phar Lap Club and receive a free soft drink and gift on the day!
Phar Lap Club members must be aged under 12.
Extended Hours
Off the track, racegoers can enjoy relaxed entertainment on the Front Lawn from acoustic duos and DJs up until the jump of the last. Members can continue their celebrations after the last with a DJ in The Roof Garden.
