A car site in The Nursery: better than your own backyard

It's time once again to join one of Flemington’s cherished traditions: your party in the car park!

The Nursery lets members create their own unique BYO or catered experience for memories that will last a lifetime. Whether you want it grand or casual, you can play host to friends, family, and colleagues, impressing them with your personal style and taste.

Opt to bring your own special picnics, hampers, and beverages, or let our accredited hirers and caterers handle everything for you.

Enjoy comprehensive racing coverage, convenient betting facilities, a DJ, and live entertainment throughout the day, ensuring a fantastic race day experience.

Inclusions

  • Each allocated site accommodates up to 25 members and/or guests
  • BYO food, beverages and set up your own space as you please
  • Access to superscreens for all the racing coverage
  • Access to betting facilities and live entertainment

Please note: The Nursery Pedestrian Pass does not allow guest access into the Members Enclosure, The Rails Promenade or The Birdcage.

  • Sites are available to purchase via Ticketmaster
  • The VRC will endeavour to allocate the same site for multiple-day bookings. Members may purchase up to 10 car sites together in the same Ticketmaster transaction, with one barcode required per car site. This ensures that car sites are allocated as adjoining. Car site locations will be allocated by the VRC, and members will be notified in early October
  • Guests will require a Nursery Pedestrian Pass, which is available from Ticketmaster.

Members Dress Regulations apply throughout the Members Enclosure, including all restaurants, bars and general spaces.

Accredited Caterers

The VRC has accredited two of Melbourne’s leading caterers to provide a range of catering services to members in The Rails Promenade and The Nursery.

The Club’s accredited caterers will take care of all your race day catering requirements, including food, beverages, waitstaff service, equipment, site theming and site pack down. Please note that unaccredited caterers are strictly prohibited.

Members who purchase a car park site will be provided with additional information about our accredited caterers, including order cut-off dates.
