The meeting marks the first day of our Winter Racing series as we head into the final four race days of the 2022/23 racing season. We are delighted to announce that our community partner for the day is the Good Friday Appeal – a charity that raises funds for The Royal Children’s Hospital to help provide world-class care for our children.
We are pleased to offer free General Admission entry to VRC Community Race Day for all residents living in post codes 3031 or 3032. To redeem this offer, please present ID with address details to a VRC Staff member at the Box Office on the day. T&Cs apply.
With seven heats of the Flemington Winter Racing series to be contested, the future stars of the track are set to step out as they continue on the path to next month's Flemington Finals Day – the pinnacle of winter racing in Melbourne.
We are offering the opportunity for all racegoers to have their photo taken with the 2023 Lexus Melbourne Cup before the Cup takes off around Australia and overseas for the Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour. The Cup will be available in Saintly Place Glass Foyer between 1-1:45pm and in The Club Stand Lobby between 12-12:45pm for VRC Members.
The VRC Punters Club will be held in The Atrium for VRC Members and available from Saintly Place Sports Bar for public patrons. Proudly supported by TAB and hosted by key racing personalities, the VRC Punters Club is a great day out for serious and novice punters alike. Register before Race 3 on the day for only $10 and enjoy all the fun of the VRC Punters Club.
PLEASE NOTE: The Peak, The View and The Atrium Tiered Dining in the Grandstand and The Byerley in The Club Stand will be closed on VRC Community Race Day.

The Kids Corner in The Atrium will be a popular destination for VRC Members and their families.
There will be various games, a reading corner, drawing and colouring-in stations for the younger racegoers to enjoy.
Entertainment
VRC Members and their guests can dance the evening away with a live DJ in The Roof Garden playing all the hottest hits – from after the feature race until after the last. And in the G.H. Mumm Champagne Bar, join in on a sing-along with the resident Piano Man playing all your favourite requests.
