The champions come to town for the fourth and final day of Cup Week.
TAB Champions Stakes Day sees no fewer than three Group 1 features that showcase the stars of Australian turf over 1200m, 1600m and 2000m.
Who will be crowned the champions this year? Make sure you are on course at Flemington to savour the final day of another unforgettable Melbourne Cup Carnival!
Mounting Yard Parade
See the 2024 Lexus Melbourne Cup Champion Knight’s Choice on course at Flemington today. Together with Jockey Robbie Dolan, Trainers Sheila Laxon and John Symons and Owners Cameron Bain, Richard and Gai Waldron, Knight’s Choice will appear in the Mounting Yard Parade before the first of our three G1 Champion races.
The Jungle comes to Flemington
Bring the kids this Stakes Day and let them dive into a wild jungle adventure in The Park and The Nursery (for VRC Members)! Kids of all ages will enjoy free activities, including jungle safari games, explorers mini golf and roving animals, like Esha the Elephant, Gemma the Giraffe, and Zoe the Zebra – not real ones of course! Bring the whole family and experience the magic of the jungle right here at Flemington—Stakes Day is packed with fun, free activities for kids!

Dressing the part for TAB Champions Stakes Day
The fashion is slightly more relaxed today – but no less stylish. To mark Remembrance Day on Monday 11 November, the official flower for the day is a Red Poppy, which you can buy on course from RSL Victoria volunteers.

The Park
A vibrant hub of fun, fashion, food, and entertainment, The Park is a must-visit destination for racegoers of all ages. Check out live performances from Australian singer-songwriter Mia Wray and The Temper Trap from 3:50pm on The Park Live Stage. The Park is located on the Hill adjacent to the trains station and if FREE with your race day ticket.
The Jungle comes to The Park
Head to The Park for FREE kids’ activities, including Mini Jungle Golf, exciting Jungle Safari Games, a Jungle-themed Singalong Show, Jungle Explorers Dance Show, Animal Face Painting, Make-Your-Own Animal Masks and interact with roving animals, like Esha the Elephant, Gemma the Giraffe, and Zoe the Zebra.
